Today: Tana is more useful long term than Obsidian because it’s an outliner that can easily summarize and display things over time. Obsidian is better in the very long term because it’s local Markdown files.

I thought Tana was a Roam/Airtable/Notion thing but the more I use it, the more it feels like Tinderbox. I was reminded of this when I learned that “Supertags” can use inheritance.

  • If you’re still hyping the fact that you’re only using a mobile phone, you’re missing the point.
